We are doing this with many homes in this category to updating floor stain, bathrooms, colors, fixtures, kitchens and even entryways so that other elements of modern design can be integrated and compliment, rather than clash. These owners use their home for many extended family events and so all spaces were desired to be “kid” friendly. Though a tiled floor is still present upon entry, the rustic elements give immediate casual comfort rather that formal design that won’t blend with fingerprints of little ones.
